Non-Invasive Fluid and Lost Circulation Materials
EMC has developed proprietary Smart Fluid Technology that creates a self-sealing and binding mechanism for Non-Invasive Fluid (NIF) and Lost Circulation Materials (LCM) for more cost-effective drilling of wells with high differential pressures and challenges related to lost circulation.

This unique technology is using modified cellulose fibres with active ingredients to create an automatic physiochemical interaction in the well. These products can be used in both Oil Based and Water Based Drilling fluids for avoiding fluids losses, increase wellbore strengthening and avoiding pressure transmission. EMC’s NIF products can also be used in the reservoir section and will be easily removed by light reverse pressure without requiring acid treatment. The EMC NIF and LCM products are designed to handle large differential pressures (> 3 500 psi) and can be adapted to any drilling fluid irrespective of specific gravity.
EMC’s NIF and LCM product range:
-
FERBRICOAT (Fine, Medium, Coarse)
-
BOREMAT (Fine, Medium, Coarse)
-
FEBRIBRIDGE
